Understanding the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible people with disability to access supports that help build independence, wellbeing, and participation in everyday life.
The NDIS is built around choice and control, meaning you decide your goals, the supports you receive, and who provides them.
If you’re new to the NDIS or feeling unsure, you’re not alone. Our team is here to help explain things clearly and support you every step of the way.
How the NDIS Works
If you are approved for the NDIS, you will receive an individual NDIS plan. Your plan outlines:
Your personal goals
The supports you can access
How your funding is managed
Your supports should be tailored to your needs and delivered in a way that feels respectful, flexible, and aligned with what matters most to you.

You manage your funding and pay providers directly.
Plan-Managed
A plan manager helps manage invoices and budgets on your behalf.

The NDIA pays providers directly. Participants must use NDIS registered providers.
